Well that didn't go nearly as smooth as I liked!
The reason for the down time was that I switched hosting plans and had to migrate the whole website. The website was back up without much delay however this forum proved to be a tough cookie. The forum also relies on a database, scripting pages and various server settings, none of which worked with the new plan until many help email requests later.........
I was also busy setting up a new domain/website for the AFA site so it becomes a separate site and not part of this one. Had some problems with the domain name, but seems to be up today !

Seems like it wasn't part of the normal backup system so need to investigate what needs to be done to recover these.
